  This is the inside view of one of the hotel battlefields, Phil & Leon had a crazy night fighting the local population of mosquito’s..

 One our way down to catch the ferry from Trikeri  across to the mainland closer to Athens we came across some fantastic views.

  Steve off into the distance sliding round the corners on the slippery greasy roads.

  This chap called into the same resteraunt as us at lunchtime, when he left he walked away without his bike & would probably be now wondering where it was if the resteraunt owner hadn’t called him back!

  This was the lovely harbour where were to get on the ferry, we arrived only to be informed that the ferry no longer allowed cars or motorcycles on it, a shame but we enjoyed the ride.   Squid hanging out to dry outside the local habour resteraunt, covered with wasps having a free lunch.No thanks.

  Taken from the same terrece looking out to sea towards the east, won’t be long & we will be heading  that way.

  On the wat to the hotel we came to a sudden halt, total caos on the road, local farmers delivering there apples to the local processing factory, there seemed to be more on the roads than in the trucks!

  If e wern’t running over spilt apples we came across herds of goats having a afternoon nap in the middle of the road.

  Phil might have had a bad night on brandy but Leon went one further, he was convinced this was a bear, was only the hotel owners pet dog!!

  End of a fun day now time for bed, lovely view.

  Stopped for a coffee in a small village to find all the staff sorting Horse-chestnuts.

  This a picture of Leons left foot, with camara in hand he set off hunting for photo opertunities in the rock pools, he soon found out how slippery Greece is! OUCH..

  Haley said there isn’t enough pictures of the East to West boys together, this was at the end of another hard day!!beer o’clock.

  Set behind the resort of Sozopol is this castle in the process of being built by a local Bulgarian family, we walked around fasinated by the detail & had the operunity to meet the owner, this guy is straight from a film set, he is known locally as “Konan the Bulgarian”, perfect fit!, has a bit of a chequred background in security, nightclubs & just about everything else, we said hello & moved on at speed!

  Steve having his first bit of exersise in three & a half weeks, thinking about taking it up full time! 

  When the bar owner said to Phil just help yourself, he thought Christmas had come early!

  Leon raising a glass to the owner & staff at the beach bar on our last night, these guys cooked the food & the locally caught fish was fantastic.

  Its been a dogs life roughing it in Bulgaria!!

  We head to the Black Sea coast to give our bums a well deserved rest for a few days..

  As we walked in we knew this was the place to stay!! Donald had a smile a mile wide.. 

  Looking outside from the rooms our decision was confirmed..

  Enjoying our stay wandering the streets of Sozopol Old Town kinly guided by Stefka a charming Bulgarian lady we met in the hotel.

  Outside one of the old town houses was a sellection of every form of home grown fruit & vegetables you could imagine. 

  Crossing the very long “Freindship bridge” between Romainia & Bulgaria straight through customs / immigration with no problems other than passport checks. 

  Aerospace musium found on route in the middle of the mountain roads, Steve wants one to add to his collection.

  Stopped for lunch, another biker on route  home from Turkey to Bucharest joined us.

 Found our first hotel in Bulgaria, lovely neat family run hotel in small run-down town. The hotel had a fantastic landscaped garden tended lovingly by its owner.
