Everglades Airboat
Our last day on the road so we decided to head back to Everglade City & to have a ride on one of the Airboats through the Mangrove Swamps.
Good fun & these things don’t hang around, 360 turns make you hang -on, remember them Gattors in the water!!
One minute we were bombing along in open water & then crawling along among the Mangrove roots.
When we arrived back on land, Lucy found a new freind, Steve said no, she is not having one!
That night we found a nice villa right on the river.

Saw your picture with your new friend all right for shoes or a handbag.Don’t think of bringing one home because Stephen’s pond won’t be big enough.And I won’t be feeding it unless you take it’s teeth out first.And remember never smile at a crocodile or one of it’s cousins.

Looks like you were in your element on this last week…fast airboats, great fishing and wonderful wild life.
Its seems from your comments that this was the end of the trip, unless you decide to follow up with North to South. Not sure that Lucy would agree.
